I completed my studies at The Atlantic School of Theology where I graduated with my Master of Divinity degree. While I enjoyed all my courses, I especially enjoyed classes in both the New and First Testament, as well as classes in pastoral care. I have been involved with the United Church for many years now and have worked at local, regional, and national levels. I am drawn to the United Church because of its progressive leanings and its commitment to issues of social justice. In my spare time I enjoy crafting (especially knitting!), spending time outside, and reading any piece of Canadian Literature I can get my hands on. I’ve also been known to do a bit of creative writing here and there. I enjoy spending time with my cherished niece and nephew, Emelie and Bennett. I reside in Dartmouth with my two fine felines named Ollie and Zeus. I look forward to getting to know you all in the months to come. Please feel free to drop by the church or reach out through email, text, or phone with any questions or to introduce yourself. I hope you share in my excitement as we discern together where the Spirit is leading St. John’s United Church.
